    I cannot say enough amazing things about Captain Eric and his unique boat! My fiancé had planned a surprise proposal and Eric was with him every step of the way! We hit a few bumps in the road from Red 36 septic backup to some one way roads during the art festival. Eric was texting with him and made sure he had every detail ready to go when we arrived finally! I still had no idea what was about to happen when we approached the dock for a last minute tour. I almost didn't get on the boat due to the rain! Eric convinced me on ..and gave a really fun, informative tour of the Seaport! He also had a code with my fiance as a special playlist started to play before the proposal and then he surprised us with champagne and everything after the proposal!!! It was such an amazing..intimate experience and I cannot thank him enough for making my surprise proposal on the beautiful Mystic River aboard the Mystic River Cruises so amazing and special!! 5 stars isn't even enough!!!

    A nice older wooden craft from the? late 40s, has more character than new boats. Had a nice cruise out to the sound and Captain Eric had a good knowledge of the interesting facts about the area. I would recommend this cruise.

    The hospitality and experience was second to none! Captain Eric adds a personal touch for anyone looking for a more intimate experience with the Mystic Sound. I found that the boat was very spacious and was perfect whether I wanted to talk exclusively with my girlfriend or access the Captain with questions and conversation. You feel as though the boat truly is your own. Not to mention Eric was an exceptional communicator who answered my every call...and every question. Being my first time in Mystic, he was readily able to point out the best spots in town while also helping me maximize the sunset cruise experience (even referring me to other companies in the area if I felt that their tours were better suited for me) - that honesty and transparency went a long way. All in all a great experience! We will definitely be back to Mystic and I wouldn't imagine taking the tour we took with anyone else. Very strongly recommend!
